SUBJECT: A future Dad with concerns
My wife and I are expecting our first baby in August. My wife is now 12 weeks along and there have been some scary times for us. There was spotting for about the first 8 weeks and then there was no blood for the next three weeks after that. My wife has already had an ultrasound at about 5 weeks and everything looked fine. Last week, there was some heavier bleeding and she went to her Dr. to hear the baby's heartbeat and everything was fine then. Last night my wife had what seemed to be enough blood to call it a "period". I am trying to be strong for her at this time but there are times that it is very hard for me to do that. Can anyone out there give me some advice? This is all so new to us and I had no idea how stressful something like this could be.
