While I don't have an answer for you, I can certainly understand what you are going through. I went off the pill in Sept. '01 after having been on it for 16 years! My doctor told me it was no problem either. (I have never been pregnant before so all of this is new to me.) I have had regular periods each month until February, and I have no idea what is going on with my body now so I am eager to get answers as well. (Still not pregnant.) I have found so little in the form of information to what seems to be a question only the two of us are seriously concerned about right now. I can't imagine we are so few in number having been on BCP for such extended periods of time. I wish you the best of luck and I hope someone with insight responds soon to ease your mind. In the meantime, keep positive thoughts that when it's meant to be, it will be.
