SUBJECT: My Best Friend won't talk to me
Hi. I am a freshman in college, and my best friend is too. She goes to another college about an hour and a half away. Now, whenever we're at home or something, we're hanging out, and we talk for hours every night on the Instant Messenger when we're at school. But last night, she said she feels like she doesn't have any alone time anymore, and doesn't want to talk. For some reason, I've never had many friends, so when I get a close one, I kind of get clingy because I feel like I'm going to lose their friendship. And now, I feel like I have. She's coming to see me on Friday, but I think it will be kind of awkward now. I feel like she hates me. What should I do to save the friendship if that's still a possibility?
