SUBJECT: playing in crib/won't go to sleep!
I have a 9 month old daughter who has just figured out how to pull herself up into a standing position in her crib but hasn't figured out how to lay herself back down. She will stand up and play for a while then start crying and rubbing her eyes because she is obviously tired so I will go in and lay her down. Just when I think she is going to sleep, I will walk out and she will stand up again! What used to take about 10 minutes of laying her down to sleep is now taking over an hour! I don't know what to do. Should I just leave her alone to figure out how to lay herself back down? Please tell me this is just a phase and since standing up is something new to her right now, she will eventually get bored and just go to sleep like she used to without any problems!
