SUBJECT: Husband wants more children... I don't. Thoughts?
My husband and I have had 5 children together. We have four boys: Brodyn, Robinson, Adam and Riley; and one girl, Skylar. My husband has really been wanting more children and been trying to talk me into it for about a year or so. My youngest child is almost five and my oldest is seventeen. I just don't know that I can handle another infant child and raising one more. I have finally started working again and we all know how difficult it is to raise teenagers and how difficult is it to raise little tiny ones. My husband says that I am hurting his feelings because I don't want to have more kids. But, I have to carry them for 9 months and take care of them and I just don't know if I can do it again. Am I being selfish? Any thoughts on a different way to tell him that I just can't do it? For some reason, it isn't getting across to him. Thanks so much for any thoughts.
