SUBJECT: 12 month old not sitting up yet?
My 12 month old niece does no try to sit up on her own. She does not crawl yet. She sit's up fine in her highchair and will stay in a sitting position if you put her in the corner of the play pen but otherwise shows no interest in sitting up.
The pediatrician said her gross motor skills are poor and is having the local wellness group come to the house to evaluate her and then she mentioned a neurologist and tests like MRI's.
Has anyone had any experience this this type of thing?
