SUBJECT: prometrium, pregnancy, and cyst
I just recently found out i was pregnant. I havent had a period since 11/24. In the beginning of december i went to dr. and found out a had an ovarian cyst, he said a corprus lutem. I just recently went back on 1/14 to have it checked and the dr. said it nearly doubled in size.i found out from blood work done else where that i was pregnant. When they did the u/s for the cyst they didnt see anything. The Dr. said that it is possible for the cyst to cause a false positive. They did blood work and called me back the next day and told me that my progesterone level was extremely low and put me on 600mg of prometrium a day and said i was very early in my pregnancy. i go back again on 1/19 for more blood work to be done. i am worried that they could not see anything and that they havent told me 100% that i am pregnant. Has anyone else ever had anything like this?
