 | My eldest sister and her husband "adopted me" or "took me in" after my parents died. I have never in my life really known my eldest sibling being since we are seventeen years apart. I only remeber seeing her once a year on Christmas for three hours. I have been living with her for one year and problems are occuring. To start off my parents were never really there for me due to work and other things that were obligations. So I never was punished or diciplined by a parental figure. Although I am extremley self-diciplined and very mature. Once problem is that right after I started to live with the two, that tried to say "were going to ground you", "go to your room" ex. for reasons Im not even sure of, and in which I have never been told things like thatin my life. Ofcourse if I say an improper(which never happens) word they have every right to say something. Yet they are trying to be my parents when they are not. I am in high school and have a pretty good outlook on life. But if a billy was living in the forest for fourty years by itslef and then another billy goat came into the forest and tired to tell it what to do , would it listen? Most likely not. So I dont really know how to adress them about that. On to another topic. They never give me money. Wether its for a school project or what, they have an extremley hard time giving me money. I mean even if I need pads or tampons, they will let me go without any of those products for atleast three days. Also once a month, just like any regular teen, I'll want to go to lunch with my friend and they wont give me money. It doesnt matter what it is they wont buy me anything or give me any money. I get clothes twice a year, for back to school wich consists of three pairs of jeans and four shirts. And christmas which I have a two hundred dollar limit.They just bouth a four hundred thousand dollar home and make eighty a year so they have absolutley no financial difficultiews what so ever. They act as if they are my parents, but they arnt and I know that. So its very difficult for me to live with them. I'm only fourteen so I can't get a job. Yet I babysit and with that money i'll buy anything that I need desperatly. What do I do? Please give me any adice that you have. Thank you for your time! |
