My brother was a twin. His twin died at about 7 months, so was a fully formed baby that my mom delivered right after my brother. Even Elvis Presely was a twin. His twin brother was also stillborn and died much later in pregnancy. It is more common in early pregnancy for a number of reasons. I also have twin nephews that both survived, but one was 5.5 pounds and the other only 1.5 pounds because one had a kinked umbilical cord and was not getting the nutrition he needed. I hope you are able to enjoy your pregnancy and feel blessed that you are going to have a baby.
