Hi, my sons 2 1/2 and he used to bite all the time. I did the same thing's you did (besides bitting) Then one day he bit my brother whos only a year older and he broke skin. My temper hit the roof and I put my hands on his cheeks and said very loud and sternly that we don't bite. I repeated it about four times and he started crying. He hasn't bit anyone since then.
