I'm very interested in learning what proactices you used to help your children though their school years. My son is in the 8th grade. I had the "school" test him in the 5th grade for a learning disability and they said it wasn't a L.D. I am currently having him assessed privately. He has big dreams for his future as an architect so I know he wants to succeed...his grades are either A's or F's...no inbetweens! I'm trying to learn how to be his advocate and need your help please. I'm worried that the teachers in high school will look at him as disrespectful and lazy and fail him or just pass him by. I think I need to have him diagnosed in order to start an I.E.P. and assure my son of getting the best public education possible. Any suggestions from you will be a blessing to us. Thank you and God Bless
