 | I am hoping to hear from you soon. My nephew has a lot of sleep problems, he will not stay in his bed. We do a nice routine of light play, talking even about feelings,(he is going through mommy withdrawal, and grandma withdrawal, as that is who he lived with before)and books, and still, he has a very difficult time settling down. He is diagnosed with hyperactivity with impulsivity disorder, and will not stay in bed. Repeatedly, we put him back in bed, and even do a time out in bed, holding him in bed for a short time, and tell him to stay in bed, and repeatedly he gets up and up. Naps take hours to get him to sleep, and bedtime takes at least an hour or more. |
