Two things I wonder about here. How did he do in the 1st grade? Thenm is he a young 7 or an older 7 ? My son is in the 1st grade and most of his friends are 7, he is 6. I have been told (by people who don't know him) to hold him back a grade. A friend who is a principal says that one must hold him back b/4 the 3rd grade or self esteem issues arise ect... so I have a nice decision to look forward to. What Medicine is he on? Some kids do fine with some and don't do well with others. Also look into if he has grown at all cause his weight can mess up the doseage ect... This sounds just like my son.
Good luck and let us know.
