Hey there, I was actually wondering the same thing, just because I wanted a diffrent answer. With a degree in biology myself(4.0 GPA), my anatomy professor and my doctor told me yes, you can have your period and still be pregnant, it just means the egg is having some sort of difficulty, it may be there, but it may not. It is possible, even if a small amount of sperm got in there. In one teaspoon of ejaculate there are more than 1 million sperm, and it only takes one, which really sucks. But our vaginal walls are acidic to the alkaliod sperm, so we actually kill some on thier way up. (good news) It also depends on if you were ovulating or not. If you were you have more of a chance. To figure out your ovulation date say mine was dec 8, then my ovulation date would be around dec. 22. So add 14 days on to when you started your period last. Hopefully you get lucky. I have your same problem right now, except I am waiting for my next period, and I am 3 days late. Damn. I have been testing negitive, but I'm nervous just like you. Men should have to go through this, punks. Well let me know if you hear anything diffrent. I have my fingers crossed for you. Good luck girl. love jewel
