SUBJECT: My intellingent 3 year old is out of control please help!!!!
I love my three year old so much but, he defies me and completely disrespects me and his father. For example:when we tell him to do something he totally mouthes off and starts to become a jerk. He likes to hurt his brother who is 2 and he threatens me saying "I will hit you" or "I will tear up your stuff" (he's 3 with the intelligence of a 6 year old). I'm pregnant with our 3rd child and If I can't figure out what to do I'm afraid he will hurt the new baby. Hey destroys my house and tears up things that aren't his. We have tried time outs,standing in the corner,spankings, hand smacking and taking away the toys. We have also tried rewarding him with things when he has been on good behavior but that doesn't work either. We are about to lose our minds if we don't find something that works. Please Help!!!!
