SUBJECT: cerclage: vaginal birth vs c-section
I am currently 32 wks pregnant. I have been on bed rest since 13 wks, at which time I had a cerclage placed due to an incompetent cervix and a previous miscarriage at 16 wks. My husband and I want to get pregnant again in the future. I had hoped for a vaginal birth with this pregnancy, but am now concerned about how this would affect any future pregnancies. My concerns lie within the risk of trauma to the cervical tissues resulting in an even weaker cervix. Anyone experience any complications with pregnancies status-post vaginal births?

Thanks for the input...good luck with your pregnancies!!!
