IN REPLY TO: changing from crib to bed

I took my daughter out of the crib at 1 1/2 years old, and she has been sleeping in a toddler bed ever since, but as much as she rolls around, I had to put a rail under her bed, to keep her from rolling onto the floor. It is a bed rail for toddler beds, and it keeps the child on the bed instead of ending up on the floor in the middle of the night. You can usually find them at wal-mart or target, even toys r us might have them. But I would suggest waiting until you child is almost 2 before changing them to a toddler bed.
