My daughter is 4 1/2 mths old and is the same way. She will only take a nap in her swing. She hated it at first and cried but i would try it everyday until one day she fell asleep in it and took a nap for three hours and has been since! I get a ton of house work done. Otherwise when she is awake I have to hold her or she will scream her head off. It has gotten better though. I started out slowly and gradually putting her down on a blanket on the floor and playing with her. She will be content for about 20-30 min and then wants to be held again. She isn't happy unless you are constantly stimulating her. it can get exhausting at times. Let me know how things work out for you. Tracey
