SUBJECT: bed wetting - 5 year old
My son will turn 5 next week. He was hard to potty train so I was pleased when we finally had him trained during the day (just shy of his 4th birthday). I am struggling with night time wetting. He just doesn't have the bladder control to go all night without using the bathroom. I have limited fluids (nothing after 7:00) and this had no real affect. He stays dry at most 1 - 2 days a week. Should I give it longer or should I begin the process of training him to wake up to use the bathroom. I hate the idea of having to set an alarm clock for midnight. Thanks for your input.
