My four month old sounds the same way. For us it is called Tracheomalacia. I've been able to find a lot of information on the internet about it. I know it is difficult to hear your child breath that way but it certainly doesn't seem to bother him. My doctor sid as long as he wasn't using extra chest muscles for breathing and his coloring was ok, that I shouldn't worry. There is no treatment for this. Just time. Hang in there.
