I'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to agree with just about everyone on this board who's concluded that everyone else is just too sensitive and, well, yes, liberal. Toughen up, because you let these kids walk all over you. I find nothing wrong with boot camp. My boyfriend's (17) sister (14) is a complete and utter spoiled, self-absorbed, lazy, obese little brat. Wanna know a story? I was over this one night. We were having ice cream, no big deal right? Until she walks in, and looks into the bucket. Of course she takes this huge fit on everyone, telling Alec that there's not enough ice cream for her, how she wants some, how he's taken most of it. She had eaten the earlier bucket entirely to herself. And yes, I watched the fat slob hord it all with my own eyes. So, she storms out of the kitchen to tell her mom. Her mom decides to give her daughter some of her own ice cream to end the fighting. Oh, was it enough for poor little precious gem of a daughter? Nooo. See, it hadn't come from Alec's bowl of ice cream. She didn't win, so daughter was unhappy. Poor little daughter, shoulda slapped her across the mouth for talking to her mom like that. So she goes to her room on her own and slams the door, damaging the hinges. While she's got her tv blaring, clearly to make everyone mad, Denise (their mom) and Alec are trying to fix the door. Well, Denise gets royally mad and tells her to turn down the tv or she'll take the thing outta her room. Nope, doesn't listen. Doesn't listen for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th times. Finally Alec opens the door and pulls the cord outta the wall. So she turns on Al and kicks him ... in that special little spot. I mean come on no guy would put up with that from anyone. And outta reflex, he decks her in the arm. Sister moans and complains, cries for mommy, and she could be doing the bacon on the floor if Alec had actually hit her full force. Well, he has class and common decent sense. This family is pathetic, and Denise kisses every inch of that wide load her perfect little beautiful rose of a daughter carries with herself. Not to mention Anik (daughter) goes to school when she feels like it. Denise is ok with that. She does NO housework, NO homework (because, of course, Denise is doing them), and goes to bed at 6 in the evening, wakes up at 2 in the afternoon. If you ask me and my mom, Anik SHOULD be sent to boot camp. The girl's a complete joke, but no one's gonna benefit from that .. ever. So I'm all for boot camp.
