The main thing with a fever is to watch for signs of dehydration. If you see any of these signs the doctor will want to see your child, but the fact that your child has a fever is actually a good sign. A fever is the bodies way of fighting infection. If your child stops having wet diapers, stops shedding tears or mouth seems dry, call the doctor to report it. Otherwise, you can treat a mild fever with Baby Tylenol and let it run it's course. Good luck!
