hi~ i was looking on line to read about petichiae and came across your question which ironically enough is something i'm going through this morning. my son will be a year on the 20th of this month and this morning he woke with the petichiae all across his right fore arm and i went to the doc who sent me to have him get blood work on his platelets &. I am still waiting for a call but can i ask you if you ever found out what the cause was for your son?? I'm hopeful that nothing is wrong with my son either~ and should that be the case, i'm curious as to what the cause may have been. Could you update me on your sons episode with the petichiae?
