I just had my second in August (with a 2 1/2 year old as well) and at first I said I would never do it again, it was sheer hell for the first 2 months, but now I really want a thrid and am tryign to convice my husband to go for one more (he isn't agreeing to it at all :-( It is a lot of work but the rewards far outweigh the sleepless nights and the complete exhustion. Especially that first smile, the first kiss and the first I love you. I wouldn't listen to your friends, if you and your husband want to be parents then go for it. Some people jsut aren't cut out for it, some jsut aren't cut out for more than one (I have a friend like that)Your life will change dramatically with each child. Possibly they couldn't handle that? I think it is terrible that they say they wish they had never had her. (my opinion!)
It is the most fulfilling experience you will ever have.
