SUBJECT: Sleep Aids and battling husbands!
My daughter is 7 weeks old and she either needs to be held to sleep or sleeps in her swing. If put down she wakes up. We let her try to cry it out ONCE for a day but i was a wreck and so was she and even after crying for an hour, each time she fell asleep and woke half an hour later. She sleeps in bed with us great, sleeping anywhere from 4-6 hours at a time. I enjoy this:) But my husband really wants to let her cry it out for bedtime and naps so she can learn to sleep in her own bed and doesnt need us to nap. I know this is highly talked about, but can i get some advice on my own dilemma? Listen to the hubby? or as long as she is getting sleep, who cares where she does it? And any tips on how to at least get her to nap without it being in a swing or a car?!?!
