SUBJECT: Should my baby be climbing yet?
She started crawling at about 7 1/2mo. and shortly after learned to pull herself to standing, she is cruising along furniture now and occasionally stands without holding onto anything. My d is 9mo. and for the past month or more she has been climbing. She climbed on top of a case "cube" of soda and sat down on it. She climbs the step and stands at the side of my bath tub. She flips over a tote that I keep her collection of peek a blocks in to reach the television. She tries to get a leg up on her leapstart learning table, thankfully, she can't, YET. If I leave my shoes near the coffee table, she tries to stand on them to give herself a boost to get on the table. I have talked to my SIL whose son is 13 mo. older then my d and I remember her son being about 15 mo. when the ped told her he would start climbing. Is this normal for her age?

Thanks,
Heather
