SUBJECT: 2nd miscarriage...any thoughts?
Just want to thank everyone that posted to my message back in August when I miscarried after 10 weeks. It was a terrible shock and this is the only place I found reassurance and comfort.
In Aug. I had a D&C and we waited 2 cycles to try again - oddly enough with success in November! Our thrill was overshadowed with the concern over what had happened just a few months earlier and after only 6.5 weeks I began to miscarry. I handled this one much better emotionally, but I am not liking my odds and am just leary - almost expecting that it will happen again.
Did this happen to anyone? How many miscarriages before I can assume something is wrong? I have heard that some women are lacking a hormone and need to get shots in similar situations and have then had no problem. I know I must talk with the doctor, but was just wondering what any of you are thinking or going through. I am disappointed, saddended, and frustrated thinking that this might just happen time and time again.
Thanks.
