Gripe Water is a Godsend. It should actaully help your daughter have a BM. My son had terrible issues with constipation when he was a baby (pretty much up until he was potty trained a few months ago) Gripe Water was part of his diet (along with Prune Juice and Lactulose!)
In any event maybe the brand you have in the US is different, but it has never ever made either of my kids constipated. Not sure about the Mylicon, we don't have that where I live.
Hope your little one is doing better though!
