 | I am not in much of a position to change anything, but I would like some imput in any case. I am visiting my sister and her family. Their teenage girl is disrespectful; extremely selfish and self centered, manipulative and uncooperative. She will not pick up after herself after using the bathroom; leaves plates and dishes where last used; never turns off a light; never does her own laundry. Mom does just about everyhing for her, including waking her up for school, makes her breakfast, drives her to school, and picks her up after school. ( And this kid doesn't even carry house keys with her...wants us to leave the door open!?!) What disturbs me the most is her attitude toward her mother: she uses foul, disrespectful language towards her. My sister just takes it. I have my sister that house rules and discipline is overdue, but she blows me off. The kid is a straight A student: that seems to have given her carte blanche to act the way she does. I think the kid is on her way to becoming an irresponsible adult. Feedback? Thank you, from Nancy |
