AUTHOR: OurFirstBaby04 | | | wow! It's wonderful that they saw your cervix starting to dialate. I have 3 children my first was a month early, that is when I was diagnosed with an incompetant cervix. I am now 30w 3d and have my third cerclage in place. In the past my dr. has taken out my stitch and induced me two weeks before my due date. This time I want my stitch to be taken out at his office, go home and wait for labor to start. I think that induced labor is harder, but it is nice knowing what day you are going to have your baby. My cerclages have always worked just fine. It does hurt when they take the stitches out, but it doesn't take long. Best of luck to you. | |  | |
