My doctor told me that it would take 2 to 3 weeks for my first period after the D&E, but I still haven't gotten it yet and it has been 2 months now. I am going to give it a little bit longer, but then I am going to call my doctor and see what is going on. I keep getting my period symptoms, just no period. I used an ovulation kit when I got pregnant. I just peed on a stick (like home pregnancy test) and looked to see if there were 2 lines. 2 lines meant that you were ovulating. It worked because I got pregnant right away. I am definitely going to use it again, once we can start trying again. Hope this helps. Denise
