SUBJECT: lost hope after etopic pregnancy
has anyone here had an etopic pregnancy and became pregnant again? i had surgery may-2003 because of an etopic pregnancy located in my right tube--i lost part of my tube. my dr. said that my fertility is the same as before i became pregnant --cause recent studies have shown that when a woman ovulates on the side of the surgery--the egg will find its way to the other side and go on through. he also said not to let it scare me from trying to conceive again cause an etopic is not likely to happen again.(my left tube is clear). i have been trying to conceive since then but no luck. has anyone else had this happen to them? anyone trying to conceive after etopic with or without success? missey
