SUBJECT: 4 year old will not do BM's in potty HELP
My daughter just turned 4 years old. She has been doing great with urinating on the potty. Insists on going by herself with no problems. BUT she refuses to have a Bowel Movement on the potty. We have tried rewards, encouragements, scolding etc. She continues to poop her pants all the time. She also continues to hold in her BM's until she's doubled over in pain. She becomes very distraught to even have to sit on the potty to have a BM. We do not know what to do to help her get pass this hurdle. Any advise would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
