AUTHOR: mikey2074 | | | If your husband won't deal with the situation, unfortunately there is little you can do. I think if he didn't allow his mom to scold him, by matter-of-factly ending the phone call or walking away, him mom might stop.
If this is harming your marriage, I feel for you. I know I get frustated when my husband allows his ex to obviously lie and suddenly call to say the kids won't be comming and that sort of thing. I accidently called him a 50 yr old boy. I felt terrible about hurting him in that way. So, don't do that.
Our husbands aren't happy about the situation and don't want to make waves. That's admirable in some way, but frustrating too.
Try to be supportive, is my advice. Neither of you can tame the control freaks. He's doing his best to keep the peace. Just let him know that he need not take abuse. Then give him a kiss and tell him you appreciate him. Good luck. | |  | |
