Yes it is the right hole. But if your going to use tampons i would suggest waiting until your next period to try them. Putting in a tampon and then taking one out right after can be uncomfortable. Also if you decide on tampons there is an information packet in the box of tampons for further help...Trust me it's not as bad as it seems...:)
