SUBJECT: MY 12 YR OLD SON IS DESTROYING OUR FAMILY
I know that sounds harsh, but I feel like I am in the process of a nervous breakdown. He has been on medication which hasn't worked. Here is the meds. he was(notice I say was). 100 mg of strattera, 20 mg of Zyprexa, 60 mg. of adderall and 300mg. of trileptal 3 times a day. Before the trileptal it was wellbutrin which he had bad side effects from. We tried counseling, every form of discipline possible, with only momentary effects. He fights with the other children, my husband and me. He was diagnosed with ADHD, ODD, and a mood disorder, which they could never pinpoint. He sees everyone against him and and not what he is doing. I cry all the time, pull my hair and watch my husband crumbling from the stress, my other family members literally asked he not spend the night at their house. He is failing almost all classes, and he says the only reason he is failing is because he doesn't do his homework and smiles about it. I am thinking that their has to be some kind of program out their for him and us to help, but I am lost and emotionally drained. Please if anyone can give me information to contact any organizations or websites for info. or even advice I would much appreciate it. Thank you for listening
