We are normally very careful about birth control, but 1 TIME we were not so careful and now I am pregnant.
Usually, this would be a pleasant surprise. But, to complicate matters my husband is a functioning substance addict (still does not admit his problem)and at times verbally abusive person that thinks all of his misery in his lfe has been caused by me.
He looks at children as a curse, even though if you asked him he would say our son is fantastic. We were talking and unknown to my husband our son overheard. He now knows hat I am pregnant, he so very excited and wants a sibling so badly.
My husband says he now wants to die and wishes bad on the pregancy. He is telling me to have an abortion and because I say I have to think more about it he thinks I have gotten pregnant on purpose.
I tell my husband if he would stop all these substances this would not feel like such a bad thing. I tell him we have so many blessings in our life that he should feel great about.
Things to consider:
1.I prayed about our relationship everyday all the time and gave it up to God 120603 the day before this happened. Maybe this is his plan.
2.My mother thinks I should abort this baby since I am not dealing with a normal man, but she also tends to be a pessimist.
3.It means alot to me to have a sibling for my son.
4. A doctor will have to instruct me when it comes to possible damage that my husband has done to his sperm
I need to make a decision!
Should I abort and move on with my life the way it was? or Have this baby, and ruin the little bit of relationship I do have?. | |  | |
