SUBJECT: slow rising hcg level and normal pregnancy?
5 days ago I had a positive blood test come back with an hcg level of 19. Because it was so low, my ob suggested I come in the next day and take another one. This time the hcg level only rose to 23. Yesterday (the next day), I went in for yet another one and am waiting to find out what my numbers are. I know from my ovulation kit that I am 18 dpo. If my numbers are still low, should I mentally prepare myself for a miscarriage or should I hold out hope for a baby?
