Spanking used to be for disciplinary actions. Then people started using their kids to vent frustration. That is abuse. I was spanked as a kid and I knew why I was getting spanked. I was never spanked by my mother or father for nothing. Stepmother was a whole different story, she spanked me because I existed. Spanking is a good form of disciplining. Time out and all of that crap does not work. Todays kids are spoiled and have no respect for anyone. They are not afraid of the police, they do more violent crimes, this is so far the worst generation of kids to date. It's a shame that the fathers don't stick around, mothers aren't that responsible. People think they fall in love and have kids and separate. From the start these kids grow up in a broken homes. Then the parents re-marry and the kids get abused by jealous spouses. Society sure has slipped.
