Ok, I'd say to consider this and any other bleeding over the next several days to be your first period. My OB told me that when I'd completely stopped bleeding after the D&C, to consider any bleeding after that my 1st period. He said it could come as early as 2 weeks after that, or up to 6 weeks. Mine came 4 weeks post D&C. It was sooooo bad I couldn't leave the house for 3 days. I went through 40 + tampons , the highest absorbancy and a bag of 20 HUGE pads. I was on the toilet 4-5 times per hour and it didn't ease up for 3 days..... BUT, I normally have heavy periods so you won't neccesarily experience this....

If you're ttc at this point, I'd start timing from when you first started bleeding as day 1 of your cycle. Don't get discouraged if you don't get preggo this first cycle. Its really hard to time it right as you're still not 100% sure of what this cycle is going to be like. It's alot easier to try to time intercourse on your 2nd cycle post D&C.
