SUBJECT: C-section question
Hi everyone,
My husband and I are expecting our first baby, a son, in Feb of 2004. I suffer from pre-eclampsia, asthma, and low thyroid. I want a c-section. This is my first baby, and I was just wondering if doctors usually will let you schedule a c-section if it is not medically necessary. I don't want to have him natural, plus, my husband is in the airforce and I would like to have him there for the birth. Is there anyone who could comment on my dilemma? Can I have a c-section if there is no medical reason, other than I would just rather go that route, rather than natural? I appreciate it.
Kaye,
