I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with Twins and at about 20 weeks pupps started up. I've had it before but never this severe. I've tried lotions, moisturizers, creams, powders, peppermint, aveno, dove and nothing has helped except I've concluded that Doctors must have stock in all of the above products and are making bank on us women with pupps buying and trying (giggles). Any way, One evening I was itching so bad that I thought that I could just lose my mind ... I mean I was scratching myself raw ... I got up and ran a bath soaked for a while and then got out the ol' cortisone rubbed my itchy body down with it and as a desperate resort I decided to try something else along with it. Are you ready ladies? It only cost 87 cents and let me tell you its worth alot more to me becaussssseeee ... it worked ... It stopped my itching for up to 6 hours at a time. I was in heaven, although I looked like I had been playing in frosting, but I didn't care "I didn't itch" I layed in bed that night just waiting for the itching to start I just knew at any moment I would be scratching like a dog infested with flea's, but it didn't happen like that at all. I actually felt kinda wierd not itching (now, that sounds strange doesn't it?) Okay, okay you're thinking tell me what you used already ... get this...it was cornstarch ... Yep, thats right ... Cornstarch applied over Cortisone and all over my body ... I hadn't slept so good in a long time and 6 hours later when the itching started up again ... I repeated the process and was blessed with 6 more hours of itchless skin. Now, maybe between the overly huge belly and gestational diabetes, acne I might be able to enjoy the rest of my pregnancy at least without itching (Chuckles).
