SUBJECT: Neocate
I recently started my daughter on Neocate, and I need some advice on how to travel with her formula when we go out. The directions on the can state that warm water must be used to make the formula and that the formula should be fed to the infant immediately after it's made. What should I do? Carry warm water in a thermos? Put a bottle warmer in my diaper bag? I'm wondering what other moms using Neocate do. Also, I've noticed that the powder doesn't always incorporate well with the water. Does anyone have any tricks on getting the stuff to mix well? Thanks.
