Hello
I am very interested in talking about how to discipline in a positive way and motivate my children ages 9 and 10 I think I have given up hope. The new thing is as of today they won't be opening X-mas gifts till the 26th. I've had it. Totally had it. They are so lazy and don't care about much. I am on the verge of leaving the family. So there is more then just lazy lazy kids, husband is also in that group. But if I could get the kids in gear then at least that would be something. I just went back to work last year so yes they have had me at home for almost 10 years.
They are not spanked but they are talked to as adults, grounded, lectured which I know does not really do much, they write lines, write essays and we talk about why things are the way they are.
My friends and I used to talk about raising kids well now I can't give advice, I have nothing to offer.
Later
Jackie
Thanks for your time.
