| I'm glad to hear that fresh juices work for you. I'm gonna try them too. You're right, you really have to find a diet that agrees with you. I've only been diagnosed with UC 6 months ago, but the more I deal with this illness, the more I realize that's true. Although I love coffee, I can't drink it now because I will get irritated right away and bleed. It's so upsetting because I believe I'm doing better, and then, I eat something I'm not supossed to and BAM! there it is again.
Since you've had this for 10 years now, would appreciate if you could tell me more about how you deal with it. How often do you see your dr. about it? Have the ulcers spread or do they stay in the same place of the colon? I guess what I'm scared of is colon cancer.....I'm also concern about my kidneys and liver.
Just when my husband and I started to plan a pregnancy, this happened and I've been in treatment. My dr. has me on Asacol and rowasa enemas. Hopefully I can start to try to get pregnant soon.
