SUBJECT: Startle Reflex
My 3.5 month old son has the "startle" moro reflex pretty bad. As he relaxes to go to sleep his arms jerk and he wakes himself. We did swaddle him with the "Miracle Blanket", which is a miracle, however, they recommend weaning between 3.5 and 4 months. He can sleep a good 2 hour nap, but his startles are waking him a lot at night. He does go through the night without a bottle, just wakes with the startles. Any suggestions?
