SUBJECT: To go or not to go?
I will ask my son (who is toilet training right now) if he wants to go potty. He sometimes reacts very intimidatedly. He will go off to a corner and grab a toy to play with. I ask again in case he forgot I asked him the first time and he pretends he can't hear me and continues to play with the toy.

Should I take him potty anyways or should I wait or him to get up and go in the bathroom like he does sometimes?

Lately, I have been taking him to the potty anyways and he will sit on his potty for about 10-15 minutes, and nothing. But, after I take him off the potty, he usually pees then. I admit, after this happened all day one day, I got frustrated and I am sure it showed. That probably has a lot to do with his new intimidated-seeming reactions to going potty.

So I guess I also would like to know how other mommies deal with this kind of frustration.
