SUBJECT: Almost 10 months... what to do about.......
Hi there ~

I am new to the boards and find the dicussions here VERY helpful.

I am concerned about my daughter only being with me all day all the time. I am fortunate enough to work from home. I am with my daughter all day and work mostly at night after dinner. My concern is that her being with me all day is going to create an attachment issue. I know it is very healthy for her to be home with me, but I wonder if there is a down side to constantly seeing mom all day. On the days we don't get out due to the weather. I feel even worse that she doesn't even see another face all day until Daddy gets home. We are not close enough to visit various family throughout the week, so our family time is limited too. We have a calm environment at home, so when we walk into a house with a lot of people or craziness Sophie will CRY for a few minutes.

Does anyone else experience this? I guess I am looking to hear that it is ok that she is home with me. I feel like she needs other children to interact with, but I am not ready to put her in Day care a couple of days a week.

ugh...so much on the brain!

Thanks!!!
