I agree. My daughter is almost 4, and a girl in her class that is also 3 has bitten her 4 times in recent months (each time breaking the skin), as well as come at her a few times in other agressive ways. THREE is too old to be biting, as her vocabulary is good enough that she can effectively communicate with her words. After this last incident I addressed the issue with the admin at the school and told her in no uncertain terms that if they are unable to keep the two separated 100% of the time, someone has to leave, and if she does not remove the other child then I will remove mine. As a parent my primary responsibility is my child's safety, and I will not continue to put her in harm's way. We'll see how this pans out. Whatever this child's "issues" are, while I am sympathetic, they are not my problem and they are not my daughter's problem. They need to get a handle on it and they need to do it now. Fair is fair, right is right. No child should have to endure physical injury while another works through a "phase." She is old enough to know better, and her parents and her school are falling down on the job. All there is to it.
