AUTHOR: mickismith | | | Consistancy, consistancy, consistancy!!! What punishments you decide to use for an action, continue to use it. Do not ignore it at one level, then spank or use time out when it gets a little worse. Don't punish only you when feel up to it.
Maybe talking to his pediatrician can help. Peds are great with this sort of advice. He or she can tell you what is abnormal and what is expected. They usually have a good way of dealing with it. Ask the doc if a child behavioral therapist would be of any use. You don't have to take the child to him. You could just talk to the therapist yourself about ways to fix it.
